HOMEWORK POLICY
Students are expected to complete their homework on time and turn it in on time. When students do not turn their homework in on time and completed, they may lose recess or specials time in order to get it completed. Not bringing it to school is not an acceptable excuse. Students need to start taking on responsibility. When they move on to fifth grade assignments have two grades - one for the assignment and one for if it is turned in on time. This will get them ready for middle school. If a student is gone, extra time will be given to get the work caught up. 1-2 days extra per day gone depending on how much work has been missed.
